If it's our fault, please call, email, or even stop by! We love to make you look and feel great, please let us know if your standards are not met. We would love to fix any issues but there are NO REFUNDS (our nail technician's time is just as important your satisfaction).

Our iOS and Android apps do not collect personal information, and we do not use in‑app analytics or advertising SDKs.

As a salon, we receive limited customer information from Square Appointments (e.g., your name, contact details, appointment time, selected services) so we can schedule and provide your services. We do not receive or store full payment card numbers—Square processes payments on our behalf.

You may receive appointment confirmations and reminders by email or SMS/MMS through Square, based on your preferences. Message and data rates may apply. To manage or opt out, adjust your preferences in your Square customer account or follow instructions in the message. If you contact us directly (email/phone), we use your information only to respond and manage your booking.

Our apps do not create or store a user account with The Paint Shop. For Square accounts you use to book appointments or purchase e‑gifts, please manage or delete your Square account through Square:

You may also contact us to request that we delete our copy of your customer notes/records where feasible and not required to be retained by law.

By accessing or using the Services, you agree to these Terms.

Section 2 — App and website; license to use

We grant you a limited, non‑exclusive, non‑transferable, revocable license to access and use the Services for your personal, non‑commercial use.

Section 3 — Bookings, payments, gift cards (via Square)

Appointments, account login for bookings, and e‑gift card purchases are provided by Square through their websites and portals, which open from our Services. Your interactions with Square are governed by Square’s terms and privacy policy.

We do not receive your payment card details from Square. Fees, taxes, and availability are subject to change.

Cancellations and rescheduling:

Please contact us if you need to cancel at least 3 hours prior to your scheduled appointment.

Cancellations or rescheduling made less than 3 hours before your appointment will be charged 50% of the scheduled service amount.

NO CALL / NO SHOW will be charged up to 100% of the scheduled service amount.

Cards that are declined when charged for the no-show policy will be blocked from online booking, unless or until the balance is paid.

One or more NO CALL / NO SHOW(s) can and may result in account suspension and loss of ability to book online, over the phone, or in person.

We understand life happens—this policy still applies but is excluded if you cancel for emergencies, being sick, testing positive for COVID‑19, or being exposed to COVID‑19.

Late arrivals:

If you are over 10 minutes late for your appointment, you may be subject to a service change (for example, to a polish change) and/or we may need to reschedule your appointment.

We reserve the right to cancel or reschedule your appointment. Fees still apply; NO CALL / NO SHOW is charged at 100%.

Walk‑ins:

We do accept walk‑ins when availability exists. We highly recommend booking in advance to ensure we allocate the correct time for your service(s). Use the “Book Now” button to reserve your time slot.

Fee processing:

Any cancellation, rescheduling, late, or no‑show charges are processed through Square in accordance with Square’s policies.

Satisfaction and refunds:

We would love to fix any issues, but there are NO REFUNDS. Our nail technicians’ time is important, and our remedy is a reasonable repair or re‑service at our discretion. Card hold/authorization (include only if you use it): When booking, you authorize Square, on our behalf, to place a temporary hold or charge your payment method for applicable fees (e.g., late cancellation or no‑show fees) consistent with our policies.

Gift cards: E‑gift cards are issued and processed by Square. Unless required by law, gift cards are final sale, not reloadable, not redeemable for cash, and we are not responsible for lost or stolen cards. Additional terms may appear at purchase.

Section 4 — Service descriptions; outcomes; no medical or health claims

Existing product and removal: If you have existing product (e.g., gel, dip, acrylic, Gel‑X, Poly‑Gel), please book the appropriate removal add‑on to allow adequate time and to minimize nail damage.

We aim to describe our services accurately. Availability, pricing, and descriptions may change without notice. Not all services are available at all times; walk‑in service is not guaranteed and booking is recommended.

Aesthetic outcomes vary by individual. Normal wear, improper aftercare, or damage from external factors are not covered by our satisfaction policy. Please follow any aftercare guidance we provide.

We do not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Any wellness or benefits statements are general in nature and not guarantees of results.

Disclaimer: Except for the limited satisfaction policy above (and any non‑excludable rights under applicable law), the Services are provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non‑infringement. We do not warrant that the Services will be uninterrupted, secure, or error‑free, or that defects will be corrected.

Exclusive remedy: For issues related to long‑lasting services covered by our satisfaction policy, your exclusive remedy is the reasonable repair or re‑service we offer within the 7‑day window. Monetary refunds are not provided (NO REFUNDS), except where required by law.

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless The Paint Shop and its owners, employees, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising out of or in any way connected with your use of the Services or your violation of these Terms.

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Services at any time, with or without notice, for any reason, including if we believe you violated these Terms.

Upon termination, the rights and licenses granted to you will cease immediately.

Section 13 — App Store and platform terms

Your use of our iOS and Android apps may be subject to the terms of the Apple App Store and Google Play. You agree to comply with their applicable policies.

Apple and Google are not responsible for providing maintenance or support for our apps and are not liable for any claims related to their distribution. To the extent required by platform rules, Apple and Google are third‑party beneficiaries of these Terms.

Section 14 — Governing law; venue

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Ohio, without regard to conflict‑of‑law principles.

You agree to the exclusive jurisdiction and venue of the state and federal courts located in Ohio for the resolution of any dispute arising out of or relating to the Services or these Terms.

Please keep your personal belongings secure during your visit. We are not responsible for loss, theft, or damage to personal items brought into the studio.
Section 19 — Closures and force majeure

We are not liable for delays or inability to perform services due to events beyond our reasonable control (e.g., severe weather, power outages, public health directives). If we must cancel, we will work with you to reschedule.
Section 20 — Pricing and gratuity
